Banff Blast

The Canadian rockies were on our list of places to go ever since we planned our honeymoon. So when work took Dan to Banff, we were extatic that Mary could come along. Thanks, Grandma, for watching the boys!

Dan's July travel took him to New Hampshire for an MIT CSAIL annual retreat. It's a family event, so we made a road trip of it. We hope you'll like our pictures of the trip. Our favorites are:

  We had outstanding inviations to visit Dan's sister Janet and the rest of the Scannells in Michigan and the Millers in Ohio. Dan's August work trip was to the Extreme Markup Languages conference in Montreal. And we had enough American Airlines frequent-flyer miles to get a couple nights free in Niagara Falls. We threw in a visit to Dan's sister Jeanne and the rest of the Kohlbergs in St. Louis and to Mary's sister Deb and the rest of the Fields in New York, and we had a plan for the ultimate road trip.
