While Dan was in the meeting and the boys were in "kids camp," Mary went for a bike ride and took some photos.

On Tuesday, Mary took the boys driving around New England. They visited the Flume Gorge and popped into Maine, just to add another state to the boys' collection.

in Maine! |
We hit the road Tuesday afternoon. The computer picked a route thru Canada for the trip home. After leaving New Hampshire, we drove thru Quebec and stopped for the night in Kingston, Ontario.
Wednesday was a long day of driving: we hit the road at 7:30am Eastern time, crossed the border into Michigan and didn't reach Chicago until about 8pm Central. We had a great visit with Ian and Valerie: some ice cream and a great game of scrabble. no photos; camera batteries were dead/missing at the time.
In order to get home during business hours to get the dog out of the kennel and get to Justin's baseball game, we hit the road early Thursday morning. We were glad to get home!
